OOH Veterinary Surgeon
????????£60K annual salary
????????27hrs per week contract
• 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota (no accommodation provided)
• 8pm-8am shifts
• Half hour, OOH consults as standard
• Part of dedicated night team (1 night nurse, 1 night VCA, receptionist on till 10pm, additional Twighlight nurse on till midnight)
• £1,500 Annual CPD allowance, Certificate sponsorship encouraged.
• RCVS, BVA, RCVS, BSAVA professional memberships
• Surgical, Medical, Endosurgery and Dentistry Certificate holder support from day veterinary team on difficult cases
• Previous OOH/ECC veterinary experience preferred
• As an advanced practice we would expect our night vets to regularly perform caesarians, pyometra, exploratory laparotomy with enterotomy and enterectomy, and manage complex medical cases including Addisons, Ketoacidotic diabetic cases and severe pancreatitis. Successful candidate should be capable of dealing with all of the above independently.

Part of a proactive in-house CPD/Clinical development veterinary
