Permanent Small Animal Vet surgeon needed for an independent practice in Swindon
Salary £52-60,000 starting salary with review at the end of probation. Probation period of 3 months

Operating from 3 independent sites
Gold standard cat-only clinic at the main site
Facilities at the main clinic allow cases to be dealt with in-house with little need for referral
Supportive efficient management teams at each clinic
38 staff members with a nursing team of 17
Teaching practice, offering good caring support

ABOUT YOU
Quality of experience important, but expect a suitable candidate to have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification small animal first-opinion experience.
A dependable clinician with solid diagnostic and medical work-up skills, confident in managing complex cases.
An interest in and proficiency in surgery.
JOB ROLE
Varied caseload consulting
Must be autonomous in routine surgeries and capable of managing intra-operative complications and critical cases without direct supervision.
Acting as a reliable, supportive senior clinician on duty and providing clinical leadership across the team when needed.
Mentoring less experienced colleagues

THE DETAILS
4 Day week (8.45 am to 6.30 pm) plus one in five
Saturdays 9 am to 12 pm
Additional 1 in 5 rota for hospitalised patient care
