Being a float role, you will work closely with your locum coordinator having shifts assigned that best support the clinics with their rota gaps. Their biggest branch also has access to digital radiography including dental, and ultrasound and a fully equipped lab. The hospital lab can run most things including T4, SDMA, Cortisol, Bile acids, Cpli/Fpli, Coags, urine sediments etc, and they have access to the Imagyst for rapid haematology and cytology interpretations if needed. They have many certificate holders including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesia and Dermatology, and currently have vets working towards certificates in Surgery, Imaging, Internal Medicine and Endoscopy. Two surgery certificate holders carry out more complex procedures on a regular basis, which includes BOAS surgery, cruciate surgery (eg TPLO/CCWO), patella surgeries, fracture repair, cholecystectomy, liver lobe resection, TECAs and so on. They also have access to laser therapy, acupuncture and physiotherapy within the clinics. They emphasise a team approach and developing the individual. They have a planning application for an extension for a CT scanner which we expect to be complete by first quarter for 2026. 2 X Part time Vet vacancies at a branch practice in Surrey for either 4 or 2 days per week. £45,000 to £61,000 (FTE) depending on experience and number of days worked, and allowing room for growth within the role. Working between two branches (10 minute drive between them) across 2-3 days per week. If you wished to increase your hours they can of course explore this for you! Both practice`s are GP first option and you will support in both consults and routine surgeries. You will have the opportunity to work across both sites getting a perfect balance between a slower and faster paced caseload. One being a quieter high street practice with a large consult and prep area. The other being the larger hub; it is a beautifully refurbished practice with large prep and kennel area and a separate upstairs space, with a fast-paced varied surgical caseload. You will be fully supported by experienced support colleagues in each branch, a dedicated regional manager, and an exceptionally experienced regional head vet for any clinical support you may need. You will also be fully supported by their 24 hour hospital for more complex cases, and for patients who need overnight care, this is provided by their dedicated OOH team. Both practices are ideally situated in South London, within an easy train ride straight into central.
